A sugar test is often requested as a fasting or random blood glucose check. Kidney function (KFT) and eGFR look at how the kidneys are working. Liver function (LFT) looks at the liver. A lipid profile looks at cholesterol and related fats. GTT is a glucose tolerance test used when a clinician wants to see how the body handles glucose over a set time.
The laboratory does not publish preparation rules on this website. Some of these tests are affected by food, and some are not. Ask Gomoti Diagnostic Lab, or the clinician who advised the test, whether you need to fast and what time you should come.
